Ezekiel 34: 11,12,15,16
11 “For thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.
12 “As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among the sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
15 “I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith the Lord GOD,
16 “I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and I will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgement.”
Isaiah 61: 1-3
1 “The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
2 “To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
3 “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He might be glorified.”
The Lord is seeking His beloved sheep, even now!!! He is bring them, even us, back to Himself!! He is binding up that which is broken, and setting the captives free!! This is a glorious time in which we live! Let us seek Him, and press into His transforming presence!!!
